Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and StackUpp LLC, an Arizona limited liability company ("StackUpp", "we", "us"), which operates the StackUpp app and stackupp.app.

The service

StackUpp helps you track how much of your take-home pay you save and compete with friends on that percentage. You enter all figures yourself; StackUpp does not move money, hold funds or connect to financial institutions.

Not financial advice

Benchmarks, insights and projections are general guides based on the numbers you enter. They are not financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Talk to a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

Your account

• You must be 18 or older, or 13 to 17 and added to StackUpp Teens by your parent or legal guardian. StackUpp isn't available to anyone under 13.
• You must give your real date of birth.
• Keep your sign-in secure; you're responsible for activity on your account.
• Enter information honestly. Challenges are meant to be friendly — don't manipulate entries to game a leaderboard.

StackUpp Teens

If you add a teen to StackUpp Teens, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian, you agree to these terms on their behalf, and you're responsible for their use of StackUpp. You need StackUpp Gold to add a teen; your Gold covers their planning tools, and a teen never buys anything in StackUpp. You can remove your teen, which deletes their account, at any time. Deleting your own account also deletes the accounts of the teens you added. Gifts you log are records of money you gave them elsewhere; StackUpp doesn't send, hold or move money.

Groups and invitations

Group owners set challenge rules. Only invite people who would want to hear from you. Don't use StackUpp to harass anyone or to share someone else's information.

Your content

You own what you enter. You give us permission to store and process it to run the service, and to show other members only what your sharing settings allow.

StackUpp Gold

Friends, challenges and logging your savings are free. StackUpp Gold is an optional auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) that unlocks additional planning and tracking tools. New subscribers may get a free trial; if you don't cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, it converts to a paid subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account, and the subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple. If Gold ends, everything you entered stays in your account and can always be exported.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or other members.

Disclaimers and liability

StackUpp is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on the app.

Changes

We'll tell you in the app before material changes to these terms take effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
