The company

StackUpp LLC is an Arizona limited liability company. StackUpp is its first product: an iPhone app, with a small backend and this site.

The mission

People tracked money with pen and paper, then spreadsheets, then budgeting apps they stopped opening. StackUpp gets back to basics: a financial notebook in your pocket, made fun by friends, framed as a climb toward your summit. No bank logins.

The model

Basic is free forever, including everything that affects rank. StackUpp Gold, an optional subscription, sells the understanding and planning on top. Gold can never buy a better rank.

What makes it different

Stack Rate: ranking by the share of take-home saved makes any group fair, at any income.
