How do I delete my account?
In the app: Profile › Account settings › Delete account. That deletes everything on our side, revokes Sign in with Apple, and hands any Challenges you own to another member or cancels them. Deleting your account does not cancel a Gold subscription; manage that in your Apple Account settings. If you can’t get into the app, use the form below and choose "Delete my account".
Does StackUpp move my money?
No. StackUpp never holds, moves or touches money. You make payments and deposits with your own bank, lender or brokerage, then come back to the app and log them.
Why can’t I connect my bank?
On purpose. There are no bank logins, so there’s nothing to leak and nothing to automate you. Entering your own numbers is what builds the awareness and the habit.
Can my friends see how much money I have?
Not unless you choose to share it. Friends see your Stack Rate (a percentage). Your amounts, expenses, income and balances are private by default. Sharing is per Challenge and you can turn it off.
I’m locked out. What do I do?
Every account has MFA. If you’ve lost your authenticator, use one of the recovery codes you saved when you set it up. If you’ve lost those too, contact us with the form below and choose "Account & sign-in".
What does Gold cost, and how do I cancel?
Gold is an optional auto-renewing subscription bought through Apple, with a 14-day free trial. Pricing is shown in the app at launch. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings; refunds are handled by Apple. If Gold ends, everything you entered stays in your account.
How do I export my data?
Settings › Export gives you a copy of everything you’ve entered. Export is free for everyone, always.
Is StackUpp financial advice?
No. Benchmarks, insights and projections are general guides based on the numbers you enter. They are not financial, investment, tax or legal advice.
Parents and StackUpp Teens
Everything about adding a teen is on the StackUpp Teens page. The short answers:
What ages?
13 to 17. Nobody under 13 can use StackUpp.
Do I need Gold?
Yes, a parent needs StackUpp Gold to add a teen. Your Gold covers your teen’s planning tools, and teens never pay for anything.
Can my teen sign up without me?
No. They need the family code you create in your app.
Who can see my teen’s money?
Only you. Friends see points and rank, never dollars.
Who can my teen be friends with?
Only other teens, and only once each teen’s parent approves.
Can adults contact my teen?
Adults can’t find or add teens, and teen challenges are teens-only.
Does StackUpp hold or move money?
No. Your teen logs what they save, and gifts are records of money you gave them for real.
What happens at 18?
The account becomes theirs. Everything they saved stays, and your access ends. We tell you both.
Can I remove my teen?
Yes, anytime, from Family. It deletes their account and data. Deleting your own account also deletes the accounts of teens you added.
Will my teen see ads?
No. StackUpp never shows promotions to anyone under 18.
Delete your account
- Open StackUpp and go to Profile › Account settings.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
- Everything is deleted on our side and Sign in with Apple is revoked. Challenges you own go to another member or are cancelled.
